Last updated: 31 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Lighthouse Style Confidence uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit this website.
It should be read alongside the Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how your personal information is collected and used.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you visit a website.
They help websites function correctly, remember preferences and, where permitted, provide information about how visitors use a website.
Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, may also be used for similar purposes.
How this website uses cookies
This website is built and hosted using Squarespace.
Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies to:
ensure the website works correctly and securely
remember visitor preferences
support website features and functionality
understand how visitors use the website
provide website analytics
Some cookies are essential for the website to function and do not require consent.
Other cookies, such as analytics or performance cookies, are non-essential. Where required by law, these will only be placed on your device after you have given your consent through the website's cookie banner. Squarespace confirms that UK visitors should be given the opportunity to consent before non-essential cookies are placed.
You can read more about Squarespace's use of cookies and personal information in the Squarespace Privacy Policy.
Types of cookies used
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly.
They may be used for purposes such as:

remembering cookie consent choices
ensuring pages and website features work correctly
Because these cookies are necessary to provide the website, they cannot usually be disabled through the site's cookie preferences.
Analytics and performance cookies
With your consent, Squarespace may use analytics cookies to help understand how people use this website.
These may collect information such as:
pages visited
how visitors navigate through the website
approximate visitor numbers
referral sources
browser and device information
This information helps me understand how the website is being used and identify ways it could be improved.
Non-essential analytics cookies will only be used where you have given the relevant consent.
MailerLite
I use MailerLite to manage my email mailing list.
If a MailerLite form or other MailerLite functionality is embedded within this website, MailerLite may use cookies or similar technologies to provide that functionality.
MailerLite also uses tracking technologies within emails, such as web beacons, which can provide information about whether an email has been opened and how subscribers interact with emails.
You can find more information in the MailerLite Cookie Policy and MailerLite Privacy Policy.
Eventbrite
I use Eventbrite to manage registrations and ticket purchases for some Lighthouse Style Confidence workshops and events.
When you follow a link from this website to Eventbrite, you leave this website and Eventbrite's own cookie practices apply.
Eventbrite uses cookies and similar technologies on its website and services for purposes including website functionality, remembering preferences, analytics and other services.
You can find more information in the Eventbrite Cookie Statement and Eventbrite Privacy Policy.
Managing your cookie preferences
When you first visit this website, you may be shown a cookie banner that allows you to choose whether to accept non-essential cookies.
You can choose not to accept non-essential cookies and can change or withdraw your consent through the cookie preferences available on this website.
You can also manage or delete cookies through your web browser settings. Please be aware that disabling essential cookies may affect how some parts of the website work.
